The central figure of the Bible is Jesus. In this lesson we will look at the claims the Bible makes about Him, the claims He make about Himself and the the significance of these claims.
The term "rapture" is used to refer to the time when Christians will be "raised up" from this earth to meet Jesus in the clouds. The purpose of this lesson is give you a Biblical understanding of this event.
A) Being that the bible is actually the Word of God, it is the final authority for all matters of FAITH and MORALITY.
Proverbs 30:5-6 Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.
Psalm 119:160 The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.
Matthew 4:4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”
NOTE: FAITH IS WHAT YOU BELIEVE. MORALITY IS HOW YOU LIVE.
