Our Mission

The goal of our Prison Ministry is to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to incarcerated men. We believe every man is valuable in God’s eyes and can experience true freedom through Christ, no matter their past.

How to Join the Team

To serve in the Prison Ministry, volunteers must complete the Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) approval process:

  1. Submit Application – Complete the Volunteer Application.
  2. Fingerprinting – Schedule and complete fingerprinting at Union Correctional Institution.
  3. Background Review – FDC will process your background and application.
  4. Online Training – Complete mandatory training sent by FDC.
  5. Receive PIN & ID – Obtain your PIN number and ID badge from FDC.
