He emphasized that this call was not about outward strength alone, but about a life rooted in obedience to God.

Pastor went on to show that the biblical definition of manhood, as seen in 1 Kings 2:3, was centered on keeping the Word of the Lord and walking faithfully in His ways. He highlighted that true manhood involved fulfilling the God-given roles of provider, protector, and priest within the home, calling men to lead spiritually with integrity and conviction. He also taught that unresolved problems, if ignored, could grow into greater threats, just as David instructed Solomon to address lingering injustice and rebellion before they undermined the kingdom.

As the passage unfolded, Pastor Allen pointed out how Solomon established his reign by acting decisively, honoring those who had shown loyalty, and dealing with those who had acted wickedly. Through this, the message underscored the importance of justice, discernment, and courage in leadership. Pastor connected these truths to the present day, noting the cultural and spiritual challenges facing our nation and reminding the church that strong, godly leadership and faithfulness to Scripture remained essential for stability and blessing.

This sermon from 1 Kings 2:1–46 challenged men, families, and all believers to examine their lives, return to biblical truth, and stand firm in their faith. It called for a renewed commitment to live according to God’s Word and to lead with righteousness in every sphere of life.
